Isa and Luke visited with Bishop Tony Kamande
of Young Life Africa Children Orphanage home
to access needs and explore partnership opportunities.

These are some of the orphans living here.

Many of these orphans at Young life Africa
are rescued from the streets of Nairobi.

This is a picture of Kibera Slum in Nairobi.
The conditions are deplorable, unsanitary and unsafe.
Bishop Tony Kamande speaking to the street
kids at Kibera slum. He encourages them to keep
hope alive, keep safe and abstain from sniffing glue.
Life in these slums is extremely hard.
These kids live without basic necessities such as food and safe shelter.
Their is no privacy, a lack of dignity and hope.

Monica  Kanini  is a resident. She does what she can to work and
uses her money to take care of some orphans that live here.
Her kindness helps some orphans survive this difficult life.
